Done a refi with cash out!!! Was hit with 2 unexpected charges to the total of $1200 out of pocket that no one warned me about. Then a day or two before closing( which had been rescheduled 3 times Over a three month span) they inform me the amount originally requested for the cash out would be $6000 less than my request because the home appraisal came in about $20000 lower than what my home is... Fell behind on payments and asked for a loan modification. All documents requested were submitted and subsequently lost on their end. Resubmitted multiple times. Was told it was looking good. Was told not to make payments. Was told many things by many different people at PNC. Not one person gives the same answer as the next. In the end, they rejected the modification. We would have sold... Read more

My wife and I have been trying to get a very small home loan (<80K) from PNC. It has gone from the initial application of "absolutely no problem" to a daily fire drill of if you do this, this it will go through. We have been doing this for weeks now and their underwriters cannot simply define what needs to be done. While I realize things change, they are just unreasonable and VERY SLOW. I... Read more

When attempting to change the way my homeowner's escrow was being handled, I was asked for my name, account number, my social security number, and the exact name and zip code on my account. They didn't seem to have the same SS# on file. This was disturbing. It was the same number I used several times during the application process. They even pulled a credit report using my SS#. When I... Read more

Trying to payoff Mortgage and everything must be in writing and to get payoff balance it must be mailed or fax but if you want it Faxed they charge $20. Give me a break in today's technology, why does anything require the mail or fax and let alone a charge. When you call they don't give any information over the phone other than to submit in writing and wait. Worst experience and I have paid off... Read more

I was told my the PNC agent oh "no worry it will only be the amount you owe to PNC "which was 87000. So that was figured at closing and then 2 weeks later I get a letter in the mail that my flood insurance needs to be the amount of the building cost 165000. If I was told this in the first place I would have never purchased that house. when it was figured how much my mortgage payment would be... Read more

Mortgage Mission & PNC padded the loan. They charged me 547k for a 525k loan. The loan amount only dropped to 510k, yet I had to pay 32 k? Im looking for a lawyer. Not to mention they pulled a bait and switch. GFE said I was getting 4.25 but at the end increase it to 4.5. At the end of closing they received a 16 k credit. I wonder why. The guy I did business with was Ryan at mission... Read more
