Written by outside the box on July 20, 2011 from gibsonia, pennsylvania, US All of your complaints are legitimate because prior to 2009 (housing crash) banks were handing out loans without doing their due diligence (this would be National City and that is why they had to sell). PNC is lending according to the strict policies and procedures that have been established since the mortgage crash. Lenders prior were negligent. Do you know why the bank needs all 36 pages of your tax return? Did you know that there is income/business information on each of those pages that is used for qualifying? Did you know that in the past fraud was committed by consumers who did not provide all pages? You are signing that each page is a true and correct copy - protecting both you and the bank. The bank can not give "special" attention to those who are prior customers over new customers - they can not discriminate and they are regulated. It is normal now to have 2 appraisals (1st appraisal may have created questions that needed answered by another appraiser, large dollar loans always require 2 appraisals, etc). The value must be determined to protect you and the bank. Getting a mortgage in one or two months is a thing of the past. The new govt regulations plus the strict overlays of many banks make that impossible. Either you need to be a better consumer and educate yourself or understand that getting money for collateral that could decline in value is going to take some time. |

Funny that being past customers doesn't mean a thing. Now, after already having two appraisals done on the home that PNC generated, they want a third party to review the two appraisals already done. You guessed it....they'll keep reviewing until they get what they think the value of the home is irregardless of what the appraiser's professional report says. Just amazing! STAY AWAY, STAY FAR AWAY! |

PNC will not help you, they make up bogus problems for you to solve for instance; We had to explain why our mail is sent to our PO Box, We had to sign all 36 pages of our tax return along with writing the loan number on the pages. Then we had to prove we still lived in the house. The list goes on This all started in 8/2009 From the other complaints they too started having problems around Aug & Sept 2009 What's going on with PNC?????? |
