My old mortgage company sold to PNC. PNC send falsified-- form ltr citing fact they had been notified I had not paid my propery taxes. When spending 10 minutes to call them-finally advised any mortgage without an escrow acct got the same threatening ltr and same untrue fact they had been notified--presumbably by Houston/Harris County tax authority we had not paid taxes. There should be a fine/penalty for such flagrant disregard of facts- I was told it was now my job to send them a tax receipt each year when for the past 25 years I have never been asked to do so. Apparently cost cutting by PNC equals consumer doing a job tht was once routine for mortgage company. Too bad I have no choice in whop services my mortgage. 12988d0
